Sydenham Challenge Dragon Boat Festival makes waves in Wallaceburg

WALLACEBURG – The Sydenham River was a hub of activity on Saturday with 20 dragon boat teams taking to the water for a fun competition. Mike Powell, co-ordinator of the Sydenham Challenge Dragon Boat Festival, said, “We can max up to 24 teams, so we’re happy we had 20 teams this year.” For the first time in many years, the event featured a junior division.
