'Successful day': The Gift collects donations for Chatham-Kent folks in need

The sixth year has proven to be another success for The Gift. Hundreds of volunteers fanned out in communities across Chatham-Kent on Saturday to collect toys, food and other items, like hygiene products, to help those in need during the holidays. “It was a very successful day,” said volunteer Fannie Vavoulis, noting more than 600 volunteers were involved from driving to pick up donations from the doors steps of homes and business, to sorting the donations, and making signs to promot
