Man charged after damaging police cruiser

A Chatham man is charged with mischief after punching a police cruiser Sunday morning. Police were called around 6 a.m. about an unwanted person on Grand Avenue West in Chatham. The person hit a police cruiser with his fist causing minor scratches, Chatham-Kent police said. A 32-year-old is charged with mischief under $5,000.
