Kent Agricultural Hall of Fame announces nominees

The Kent County Agricultural Hall of Fame announced this year’s induction nominees for their longstanding involvement and contributions. Announced at Monday’s council meeting were John Jaques, Bryan and Shannon Prince, and Bill and Jean Sloan (both posthumous). Jaques, of the former Zone township, has been an industry leader in technological and policy advancements, marketing strategy development, creation of disaster coverage programs and sustainability initiatives. “These eff
