Emergency water restriction immediately imposed across large area of Chatham-Kent

A municipal-directed water restriction is being immediately imposed for residents and businesses in Chatham and area communities that include restrictions on showering and bathing and doing laundry.A media release issued Saturday morning, states: “The Municipality of Chatham-Kent is directing residents and businesses in Chatham and several surrounding communities to immediately restrict water use to essential purposes only as the municipal water system experiences significant supply chall
