Elderly pedestrian dies after hit by vehicle

An elderly pedestrian was was struck and killed by a vehicle near Thamesville late Wednesday night. An 86-year-old Thamesville man was pronounced dead at the scene around 11:45 p.m. on Longwoods Road between Dew Drop Road and Huff Side Road, Chatham-Kent police said.
