A Chatham-Kent company was fined $85,000 in connection with the tree-cutting death of a Dover Centre man in 2022. John Harris Concrete Ltd., located north of Chatham, pleaded guilty in provincial offences court in Sarnia, stated a ministry release Wednesday. The date of conviction was Jan. 13, 2024.
