Avian flu tests planned after crow die-off in Chatham

Avian flu tests will be done soon on some of the many dead crows found in a wide area near a popular winter roost along the Thames River in Chatham Sunday, a wildlife group says. Clusters of dead crows were located in a green space near the rear of the Village of the Thames retirement home on Grand Avenue West. Dead birds also appeared in various spots on the Enbridge property on Keil Drive, including in the parking lot and near a community garden and path, along with on the frozen river. There
