Why Heated Rivalry isn't eligible for the Emmys

The meteoric success of Canadian series Heated Rivalry is unlike anything industry watchers have seen in recent years.But it might be too Canadian for some of the biggest TV awards — including television's marquee event, the Primetime Emmys.
