UCP MLA says he’s voted in favour of Alberta holding binding referendum on independence

Red Deer-South MLA Jason Stephan says he has voted in favour of Alberta’s government proceeding with a legally binding referendum on separation, but adds he hopes to see Canada united if Alberta is “treated fairly” as a result.
