They lost their savings in an alleged real estate scam. Now, some unexpected relief

A year ago, Janet Campbell thought she’d never get her savings back, after she lost nearly $30,000 in an alleged real estate scam. Now she and several other victims of the alleged scheme have received partial reimbursements from Tarion, the organization that administers Ontario’s new home warranty program.
