Obsession becomes highest-grossing film with budget under $1M US

Obsession got what it wished for and more. The 2025 horror film has broken the record for highest-grossing film with a less than $1-million US budget with box office receipts of over $400 million US. That puts it ahead of the 1973 Bruce Lee classic Enter the Dragon, which grossed $400 million US on a $750,000 US budget.
