3rd-party advertisers can’t appoint scrutineers in Alberta referendum and both sides aren’t happy about it

Elections Alberta told registered third-party advertisers they won't be able to appoint scrutineers in the upcoming referendum — a move drawing criticism from campaigners on both the federalist and separatist sides.
