Woman seriously injured in pedestrian crash on Calgary's 17th Ave.

The Calgary Fire Department says the crash happened Wednesday at the intersection of 17th Avenue and Ninth Street, and involved two vehicles. The woman, who police say was a pedestrian, was found in a planter with "serious, potentially life-altering injuries."
