Medicine Hat mayor, city hall deny wrongdoing in manager's firing

Legal documents filed on behalf of the City of Medicine Hat and Mayor Linnsie Clark ask that court action brought by former top administrator Ann Mitchell be dismissed. The defendants in the combined $1.3-million lawsuits say that serious misconduct led to Mitchell's dismissal in the fall of 2025. The claims have not been tested in court.
