It's 'been a battle' for Canada's hemp industry, Alberta processor says

Industrial hemp has been commercially cultivated in Canada since 1998 — two decades before the legalization of recreational cannabis use — but data suggests recent years haven't been too kind to the industry. That includes hemp processing in Alberta, where more than half of Canada's hemp crop is cultivated.
