Calgary company steps up to help combat screwworm in U.S.

To fight the growing risk posed by screwworm, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration granted emergency approval to a liquid ivermectin for horses product made by Calgary-based company Solvet. The product can now be sold and used for the short-term prevention of screwworm in the United States.
