Soldiers to commemorate Valour Day on Sept. 27

Soldiers from the 56th Field Artillery Regiment will commemorate Valour Day on Sept. 27 with several activities including a rifle drill by the cenotaph. The drill takes place 11 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. at the corner of Brant Avenue and Dalhousie Street. No live ammunition will be used at any time. Residents are encouraged to attend the event as spectators. However, for safety reasons, residents are requested to refrain from obstructing or moving near the soldiers when they are carrying out their task
