'Safety sticks' outside Brantford schools collecting data about parking, traffic patterns

Residents may have noticed some unusual looking posts installed outside a couple of Brantford schools. 
  Known as safety sticks, they are devices used to collect data related to parking and traffic patterns. 
  Part of a pilot project initiated by the City of Brantford, they have been put in place outside King George School on Rawdon Street and St. Basil/Walter Gretzky School on Blackburn Drive.
