Police blotter: Assault, impaired driving, careless driving

A 21-year-old Brant County man has been charged with assault following a July 5 incident at a Rest Acres Road business. Brant County OPP officers were sent to the Paris business at about 10:50 p.m. to investigate an alleged assault. Upon arrival, officers determined a patron of the business had been assaulted.
