Murder charge for Brantford man after woman dies in house fire

A 40-year-old Brantford man faces a second degree murder charge following a fire in a townhouse on Buchanan Crescent that claimed the life of a 49-year-old woman. Brantford firefighters, police, and paramedics responded at about 7:45 a.m. on Monday, May 5 to find smoke coming from the home.
