Man wanted in downtown stabbing arrested

A suspect wanted in connection to a stabbing on July 26 was arrested Wednesday on Brant Avenue.Dameon Hunter, 42, was sought by police after officers went to a lodging home on Dalhousie Street near Brock Street on Sunday afternoon to find a man had been stabbed during a dispute with another man.The man suspected in the stabbing had left before the officers arrived.Police issued a warrant for the suspect’s arrest, saying he faced charges of aggravated assault, assault with a weapon, posses
