Job losses on the rise in Brantford, Norfolk: planning board report

The Brantford area jobless rate for the past month climbed to 6.1 per cent – up from 5.3 per cent in February – as 800 more people became unemployed, according to seasonally adjusted estimates by Statistics Canada. In Norfolk County the jobless rate also increased, reaching 6.4 per cent.
