Brantford's Claire Meadows to help coach Canada's women's basketball team

Brantford’s Claire Meadows has been selected to join Canada’s senior women’s national basketball team as an assistant coach for the FIBA Women’s Olympic Pre-Qualifying Tournament.Meadows will be on the bench as Canada takes part in the event in Guadalajara, Mexico, from Aug. 17-23.Canada is in Group B at the tournament along with Mexico, the Philippines and Senegal. The top-two teams advance to the semifinals, with the tournament champion earning a spot at the 2028 FIBA
