Brantford city councillors give $2 million boost to new Lansdowne Children's Centre home.

Plans to build a new $100 million Lansdowne Children’s Centre received “critical” support from Brantford city council on Monday. Councillors,, at an estimates committee meeting, voted to contribute $2 million over five years to support construction of the new centre. The money will come from the city’s community groups reserve. “We’re here to speak to how critical it is for the province to see the local and municipal support for this project,” Scott Lyon
