Quinte Conservation tree seedling giveways ahead; bulk sales underway

Quinte Conservation is again giving away free tree and shrub seedlings – and, for the first time, selling them in bulk. Many local municipalities are holding the popular giveaway days in partnership with the conservation authority’s Community Trees program. Belleville’s giveaway is May 3 in Market Square, behind city hall (169 Front St.). It starts at 9 a.m. “Many municipalities – not all of them – will be doing their giveaways on that weekend,” said Li
