Prince Edward County, Quinte West split $5.8 million in unconditional provincial funding

Quinte municipalities are getting more than $6 million from Ontario’s rural affairs ministry.Prince Edward County will receive $4.2 million and Quinte West almost $1.6 million through the Ontario Municipal Partnership, Bay of Quinte MPP Tyler Allsopp and Rural Affairs Minister Lisa Thompson announced here on Thursday.And from the separate Rural Ontario Development (ROD) program, eight organizations in both municipalities and in Belleville will get between $10,000 and $50,000 for projects
