Hastings County joins 911 campaign, offers tips to avoid errors

Hastings County officials are, as part of a new provincial campaign, urging people to help reduce needless 911 calls. The effort is part of the “When Every Second Counts” campaign of the Emergency Services Steering Committee. The group is comprised of representatives of Ontario’s largest cities and municipalities or regions involved in emergency services. Organizers say it’s the first Ontario-wide campaign of its kind.
