Conversion therapy survivors declaring Jan. 7 as awareness day
Members of a Belleville group, joined by those in other countries, are declaring Jan. 7 as the International Day to End Conversion Therapy. Conversion “therapy” is the practice of trying to change or suppress a person’s sexuality, gender identity or expression.
