Belleville-Quinte Walk to End ALS needs donations for local patients

The annual Walk to End ALS returns to Belleville Saturday morning, and donations are needed to support patients and families living with the terminal illness.This is the Belleville-Quinte walk’s 25th year, and lead volunteer Evelyn Wilson said organizers are hoping to more than double the average of $30,000 raised here each year for the Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis Society of Canada.The local goal this year is $35,000.
