On Saturday, May 17th, Bay of Quinte Pride is marking the International Day Against Homophobia, Biphobia, and Transphobia (IDAHOBIT). This global day is all about standing up for the rights and safety of 2SLGBTQIA+ people around the world. IDAHOBIT began in 2004 and honours the 1990 decision by the World Health Organization to stop classifying homosexuality as a mental disorder.
