Wildfire crews get a handle on 2 of 3 blazes near the Okanagan Connector
UPDATE: 8 p.m.
The Lacoma Creek wildfire that sparked off Highway 97C on Sunday is now considered held.
The blaze grew to .009 hectares and is lightning-caused.
Another lightning-caused fire in the North Missezula Lake region, south of the Okanagan Connector and east of Highway 5A, is under control at .009 hecatres.
The Davies Lake blaze, which is the largest of the lightning-caused fires in the area, remains out of control at 1.1 hectares.
The fire was discovered on Aug. 22, south of Aspen Grov
