Murdered Abbotsford woman among 15 honoured during vigil in Victoria

An Abbotsford murder victim was among 15 women honoured during a silent vigil Tuesday (Nov. 25) in front of the B.C. legislature in Victoria.
The vigil, honouring women who were killed by men in 2025, was organized by Vancouver Rape Relief. Participants held signs with women’s names, ages and the date of their murder.
One of the signs was dedicated to an 80-year-old Abbotsford woman killed on June 30 in what police deemed a “murder-suicide involving intimate partner violence.”
