Free food, boarding available for pets of B.C. wildfire evacuees

The British Columbia Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals says help is available for wildfire evacuees and their pets.
The wildfire season so far this year has seen more than 3,000 square kilometres of land scorched, forcing hundreds of people to leave their homes and land.
A news release from the organization says free pet food and supplies are available at B.C. SPCA animal centres.
