Abbotsford’s Robert Bateman Timberwolves take down defending provincial champions

Abbotsford’s Robert Bateman Timberwolves senior varsity football team had a tough task in week one of the AAA regular season – a date with the defending provincial champion Lord Tweedsmuir Panthers.
The Panthers held a 14-13 advantage at halftime during Friday’s (Oct. 2) game until a thunderous hit and fumble recovery by Owen MacDonald led to a Bateman touchdown. The Timberwolves defence roared again on the next possession and scored a safety.View this post on InstagramA post s
