Abbotsford police arrest 16 people in new retail theft project

A new project from the Abbotsford Police Department (APD) has led to a fresh wave of retail theft arrests and more than $1,600 in recovered goods.
This operation was conducted by the APD Street Outreach Response Team and involved the use of 11 officers during a 10-hour period.
During this time, the police were able to arrest 16 individuals for various forms of theft.
A vehicle was even seized as part of this operation, which the APD has titled Project Pumpkin Spice LAW-tte.
