Abbotsford home builder Joel Madsen announces bid for city council

Local business owner and home builder Joel Madsen has announced his candidacy for Abbotsford city council in the municipal election in October.
In a press release on Sunday (Aug. 23), Madsen said his priorities include a safe and bustling downtown; better parks, trails and recreation opportunities; responsible growth and infrastructure; and creating a city “where businesses have a reason to invest and families have a reason to stay.”
