Immigration minister denies knowledge of U.S. diplomatic directive to get Canada, allies to lower immigration

Federal Immigration Minister Lena Diab says she’s unaware of a reported directive sent to the U.S. Embassy from the Trump administration ordering its envoy in Ottawa to press Canada to lower most immigration levels.
