Lane Hutson is closing in on the Montreal Canadiens’ franchise record for most points by a rookie defenseman.
He currently has 62 points, while Chris Chelios’ record stands at 64 points.
Just two points, which should be achievable considering the #48’s recent production.
Chelios wasn’t even aware he still held the franchise record until he heard about it recently.
