At 13, North Vancouver dancer takes centre stage in National Ballet’s Nutcracker

At 13, Angus Crerar is living a dancer’s dream. This December, the Grade 9 student from North Vancouver will perform the lead role of Misha in the National Ballet of Canada’s production of The Nutcracker. “I was pretty shocked when I heard I got the role,” said Crerar, who is a student in the National Ballet School (NBS) Professional Ballet-Academic Program.
