The Montreal Alouettes will get a welcome boost on offense for their upcoming matchup against the Calgary Stampeders.
Wide receiver Cole Spieker will return to action after being sidelined for several weeks due to an ankle injury.
Spieker has played in only one game since the start of the season, on June 4 against the Hamilton Tiger-Cats. Despite his limited playing time, he demonstrated his potential by catching a 22-yard pass before being forced to join the injured list.
His return comes at a
