Kanien'kehá:ka artist and activist is 1st Indigenous winner of Montreal arts prize

Katsi'tsakwas (Ellen Gabriel) is the first Indigenous artist to win the Grand Prix of the Conseil des arts de Montréal since the prize's launch in 1985.
