Mining set to restart at one of the NT's biggest gold reserves

After being dormant for nearly 30 years, the Mount Todd gold mine near Katherine is gearing up to restart production. While there are calls for local Aboriginal people to have the "first crack" at mining jobs, the operator is planning to engage a largely FIFO workforce.
