Friday Flashback: The Power, The Passion

With the sad passing of Julian McMahon last week today I’ve turned back to The Power, The Passion.
Seven boldly commissioned a daytime soap in 1989 – the first local daytime soap produced in 20 years for Seven. It was part of a wider plot during the Christopeher Skase era to unseat Ray Martin on Nine, joined by The Bert Newton Show which screened before it.
Created by Bevan Lee, filmed in Melbourne, it centered around ruthless business tycoon Gordon Miles (Kevin Miles) who manip
