Coalition calls for 'extraordinary' immigration powers to be tightened as High Court ruling looms

Proposed powers to make deporting certain non-citizens easier and impose effective travel bans on countries that do not accept involuntary returns should be made tighter, the Coalition says, warning the laws as drafted would apply to thousands more than intended.
