Queensland Adoption Reform

The Australian Christian Lobby welcomes Families Minister Amanda Camm’s efforts to reform Queensland’s child protection system and her willingness to examine adoption’s future. This is an important opportunity. Too many children who cannot safely return to their birth families remain in foster or other out-of-home care without a clear pathway to a permanent family.
