Apple gets more time to build North Carolina campus, after years of delays

Apple's long-delayed North Carolina campus is effectively restarting, with state officials granting the company a few more years to meet its hiring and investment promises.

After years of stops and starts, North Carolina has granted Apple a four-year extension to meet hiring and investment goals for its Research Triangle Park campus. Effectively, the process has started over again, with 2027 considered "year one" rather than the
