Democrats vying for Rep. Sam Johnson's seat in Collin County say they can turn red District 3 blue

The two Democrats in Tuesday's runoff say they can turn the 3rd Congressional District blue, despite the fact that the district encompassing much of Collin County has been solidly red for decades. Voters will decide whether they want Lorie Burch or Sam Johnson, two Plano-based attorneys, to face state Sen. Van Taylor in the November election.
