May temperature likely to be ‘above normal’ in most parts: IMD

India Meteorological Department forecasts intense hot weather during parliamentary elections in many states/UTs. 295 seats to vote in the next four phases, with the remaining 57 seats in the last phase. 'Above normal' temperatures are expected in most parts meanwhile in northeast India and adjoining areas of northeast peninsular India where temperatures will go 'below normal'.
