B.C.'s Simon Fraser University lays off dozens of employees, citing financial challenges

Simon Fraser University let go of dozens of staff across its three B.C. campuses in Burnaby, Vancouver, and Surrey. Due to budgetary challenges, the university said they eliminated approximately 85 jobs since Monday. The positions include instructors, administrative support staff, and custodial workers.
